CANDY CANE CLUB, REVIEW, GAMES FOR PRESCHOOLERS ...

?

We brushed into Candy Cane last year at an exhibition and found a stall that was crowded but had stuff that was different. Out of the hundreds of stalls at the exhibition this was one place that actually made us pause and spend some time to understand all about them.

In an age of online games where the classic board game is losing its sheen we believe that this format is still a great way to develop interpersonal and social skills for young children. Lateral thinking skills, language skills, strategy are all best developed when children learn-by-doing in competitive formats. Kids learn by watching and trust me when I say they will make the same moves as you do or sometime faster and better when they see the parents play with them.

Candy Cane Club?s board games for 3-8 year olds maximize interaction between players to aid in the development of social, emotional and creative skills. The board games that focus on reinforcing and developing specific skills in a competitive format. Our design team works extensively with children in our target age groups are designed to fine-tune games that are appealing, simple to understand, yet have sufficient shades of complexity to make children think. With all the learning the fun is seamlessly woven in.

Whats it all about:

1. Candy Cane has board games for 3+ year old children. If you are thinking why would board games catch anybody?s fancy then read on.

2. Edutainment board games that are vibrant and cover math, memory, strategy & lateral thinking

Why we love them:

1. Excellent quality

2. Its different. It fosters thinking. There are no fixed answers and lets the child explore his imagination

3. Spans across various subjects

4. Its unisex and custom designed for boys and girls like ?The Shopping Village?, which comes in a separate design for boys and girls that takes them on a shopping spree around a mall while teaching them the value of money.

5. Value for money: Rs 399 onwards

6. Most importantly Mrs Vidhi Mehra, a mom of two lovely children with a BA in Economics & an MBA has designed these personally. You know moms are the first and best teachers of a child.

Memory Chain, Connections & Shopping Village is our absolute favourite. To know more about them click here. We love them because like we said earlier there are no fixed answers and encourages imagination and creativity. Connections which is an absolute favourite because each time we play it the daughter learns new words and new Connections. Connection is a game about a few picture cards which you need to connect and make a logical sentence. Now you know why we love them.
