TheGatewayNews tells us from Streetsboro, Ohio the Lakeside Terrace land lease community is undergoing a facelift as well as receiving new infrastructure. An MHC since the 1970?s, Dave Leichtman of Verandah LLC says he plans to sell new homes wholesale to the residents. Currently six units are occupied and three of those occupants will be buying new homes. He says, ?My money is made by leasing the land. I think I?m a better deal than an apartment building.? The new two-and-three bedroom homes will range from 950 to 1,250 square feet, and cost $30,000 to $49,000, MHProNews has learned. While some of the current homes are sitting on dirt or concrete blocks, Leichtman intends to provide cement foundations for all the homes.
